Bell & Evans seeks a diligent Machine Operator for the second shift in Fredericksburg, PA. This hands-on role involves operating and maintaining production equipment safely and efficiently to meet schedules and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while following established procedures and quality standards in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; or 1–3 months of related experience and/or training.
• Previous machine operation or manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with fellow team members in English.
• Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and other work-related documents.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and food safety standards.
• Reliable and dependable with a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Safely operate production machinery while following all required safety procedures and operating guidelines.
• Monitor equipment during production and ensure machines are operating properly.
• Produce products according to established production schedules and customer specifications.
• Maintain a strong focus on food safety and product quality throughout the production process.
• Immediately identify and report any safety, quality, or equipment concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and GMPs.
• Read and follow operating, maintenance, safety, and procedural instructions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Work effectively with fellow team members to meet department and production goals.
• Perform all required duties with minimal supervision.
• Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
