Job summary

Bell and Evans is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift in our Fredericksburg, PA facility. This full-time Direct Labor role involves processing poultry, handling live or raw chicken, deboning, cutting, packing, weighing, and maintaining production equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents in English or Spanish, such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail are required for handling packaging, weighing, and inspecting products.

Responsibilities

• Weigh product on floor scale and print label.
• Use stretch wrap to secure product on pallet.
• Move product to storage or shipping areas and stock lines with PPE.
• Operate and maintain basic production equipment and perform pre-op checks.
• Follow production schedules and adjust weights per recipe requirements.
• Willing to work in hot, cold, wet, and noisy conditions; lift up to 40 pounds.
