Qualifications

• Must read blueprints and set up machines with appropriate tooling, feeds, and speeds.
• Experience with inspection tools and gauging devices is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities are essential.
• Able to work independently and follow safety protocols in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate large lathe equipment to meet specifications.
• Read blueprints, select tooling, feeds, and speeds for proper machining.
• Perform in-process inspection and adjust settings to ensure quality.
• Lift and maneuver parts with hoists or cranes and maintain workspace cleanliness.
• Collaborate with team to ensure on-time production and safe operation.
