Randstad USA is seeking a skilled Mold Setup Technician to support our manufacturing team in Arlington, TX. You will prep, troubleshoot, and maintain injection and blow molding equipment to keep production running at peak efficiency.

The role requires hands-on mechanical expertise, strong safety practices, and the ability to handle overtime as needed. Salary ranges reflect market rates for this position and location.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in mold/machine maintenance or injection molding.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics and electricity.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willingness to work overtime to ensure continuous production coverage.

Responsibilities

• Load, position, and install molds into thermoplastic injection and blow molding machines; perform full changeovers per production schedule.
• Diagnose and resolve issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical connections, and water lines.
• Build and repair structural foam injection nozzles; perform preventive maintenance on molds and secondary equipment.
• Maintain changeover sheets and maintenance logs to ensure process consistency.

In this role, you will be the backbone of the production floor, ensuring our injection and blow molding machines are prepped, maintained, and running at peak efficiency.

Shift: Second

Work hours: 2:30 PM - 11 PM

Education: High School

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.

Qualifications

• Technical Skills: strong general mechanical aptitude with basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, thermodynamics, and electricity.
• Experience: Proven experience in mold/machine maintenance and the injection molding process.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, strong attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet tight deadlines.
• Flexibility: Must be available for assigned overtime to ensure continuous production coverage.
