Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in an industrial paint setting/manufacturing environment and/or painting/blasting experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare material for painting, including sandblasting, cleaning and surface prep, and removal of paint.
• Mix paints and apply procedures for brush or spray gun.
• Operate painting equipment per procedures and specifications.
• Sand blast/paint duties, including changing filters as needed.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and comply with ISO 9000 requirements.
• Assist in training of new or less experienced employees.
• Handle and dispose of hazardous waste according to EPA regulations and MSDS guidance.
• Follow safety practices and facility rules to protect self and others.
