Qualifications

• Detail-oriented and dependable candidate who can follow instructions and produce quality work.
• Experience in industrial equipment painting and process piping.
• Experience with wet painting using a gun.
• Experience with blasting and blasting media (sand, glass bead, etc.).
• Understanding of NACE requirements.
• Ability to gauge millage application and document with a millage tester.
• Ability to differentiate between colors.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with interruptions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and coat surfaces after cleaning and surface prep.
• Prepare paints and mix using appropriate compounds and viscosity measurements.
• Apply paint using spray equipment, airbrushes, rollers, or brushes.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and safe handling of hazardous materials.
• Maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment as needed.
• Monitor conditions and document quality for turnover packages.
