Job summary
Torrey Holistics is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic to support plastics molding operations on the evening shift in Massachusetts. You will troubleshoot and maintain injection molding equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and assist with facilities tasks as needed.
You should bring 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong hydraulics/electrical troubleshooting, and familiarity with Allen-Bradley or FANUC PLCs.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; technical/trade education preferred.
- About 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Experience with injection molding, blow molding, or similar molding equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting across hydraulics and industrial machinery.
- Experience with motors, relays, sensors and basic electrical controls.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Repair hydraulics, motors, servo drives, sensors, relays, and auxiliary equipment.
- Service thermolators, material handling, drying systems, and molding support assets.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Diagnose basic electrical issues on 240V–480V systems.
- PLC troubleshooting on Allen-Bradley and FANUC platforms.
- Support automated assembly and packaging equipment.
- Handle facilities maintenance: basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry.
- Follow LOTO and established safety procedures.
