Job summary

AKG North America in Mebane, NC is seeking an HHP Assembler on 2nd shift to assemble large cooling systems using detailed work orders and 3D models. You will read instructions, locate parts, assemble units, and prepare them for shipping with cranes or forklifts.

The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and meeting production quotas, with strong teamwork and opportunities for advancement in a stable manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environment is required.
• Prior experience in final assembly preferred.
• Mon-Fri, 1pm-9pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
• Open, manipulate, and understand 3D computer models.
• Inspect the quality of coolers, steel parts, fans, drive components, and use corrective tools to repair as needed.
• Locate and retrieve parts required for assembly.
• Move cooling packages between work areas using motorized cranes.
• Assemble and attach parts following blueprint instructions and 3D models.
• Document that the unit has been assembled according to standards.
• Meet production quotas set by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Develop knowledge of parts used in High Horsepower Units.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly.
• Adhere to policies and EMS requirements.
• Regular attendance is required.
