Job summary

AKG North America in Mebane, NC seeks an HHP Assembler for the 2nd shift to assemble large, complex cooling systems per detailed work orders and 3D models. You will locate parts, assemble units, and move them to packaging for shipping, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

The role requires reading instructions, interpreting 3D models, inspecting components, and maintaining safety. Physical work, basic math, and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand work instructions and blueprints.
• Open, manipulate, and understand 3D computer models.
• Inspect the quality of coolers, steel parts, fans, drive components and use corrective tools for repairs.
• Locate and retrieve parts required for assembly.
• Move cooling packages between work areas using motorized cranes.
• Assemble and attach parts to the cooling package following blueprints and 3D models.
• Document that the unit has been assembled according to standards.
• Meet production quotas set by the Lead or Supervisor.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Develop knowledge of parts used in High Horsepower Units.
