Job summary

Stanley Engineered Fastening in Lakewood, OH is seeking a Grinder Set Up Operator for 2nd shift. You’ll set up and operate centerless grinder cells, make machine adjustments and dress wheels to ensure production targets are met.

You will read drawings, follow routings, monitor robotic and feed systems, maintain a clean work area, and record in-process quality measurements. The role requires physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 3 years operating centerless grinders.
• Able to read drawings, follow routings, use shop math, and use hand held measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate centerless grinder cells.
• Make changes and adjustments to machines.
• Run production on grinders and dress wheels.
• Monitor robotic and track feed systems.
• Record quality measurements of parts produced in-process.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and perform other duties as assigned.
