Job summary

PLASKOLITE, LLC in Zanesville, OH is seeking an Extrusion Supervisor to oversee day-to-day extrusion operations, ensuring safe, efficient, high-quality production aligned with manufacturing standards. You will lead extrusion leads and technicians, drive process improvements, and collaborate with Maintenance, Quality and Scheduling to meet production goals, safety, and housekeeping standards.

This is a full-time salaried role with 12-hour 2-2-3 shifts, and bonuses up to $3,000 plus a $2,000

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred.
• Basic Math & Computer Skills, required.
• 7+ years of work experience.
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee extrusion operations to ensure all production lines are running safely, efficiently, and in accordance with schedule.
• Lead, coach, and evaluate extrusion team members including leads and technicians.
• Monitor production output, scrap, and downtime to ensure targets are achieved.
• Promote and enforce a culture of safety and ensure PPE and OSHA compliance.
• Ensure extrusion products meet quality specifications and partner with Quality to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve process reliability and efficiency; collaborate with Engineering and Maintenance.
• Maintain effective communication across shifts and departments with daily production updates.
• Maintain equipment with preventive maintenance schedules and coordinate with Inventory.
• Maintain production reports, downtime logs, and personnel records.
• Serve as a role model for professionalism, teamwork, and integrity.
