Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking a 2nd Shift Electronic Technician 2 for Rolling Meadows, IL. You will perform routine testing, fault isolation, and troubleshooting on production hardware in the IRCM cell, working from schematics and defined plans.

Requirements include a high school diploma with 2+ years electronics experience, proficiency with oscilloscopes, meters, and test equipment, and the ability to obtain a US government Secret clearance. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and 2+ years electronics troubleshooting experience.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, function generators, power supplies, multi-meters, probes.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.
• US citizen with ability to obtain a US Government Secret Clearance.
• Experience with SAP MES and documentation of test results is a plus.
• Military electronics background is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Work from schematics, diagrams or plans to perform testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine operational tests and fault isolation on production hardware.
• Diagnose malfunctions down to component level and collect data.
• Utilize development or diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope and signal generators.
