Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is seeking an Electronic Technician 2 for a 2nd shift in Rolling Meadows, IL. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing faults in production hardware, using oscilloscopes, DVMs, and signal generators.

Basic qualifications include a high school diploma and 2+ years in electronics; ability to obtain US Secret clearance; citizenship required. Preferred candidates may have an associate degree in electronics and SAP MES experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and at least 2 years of electronics experience.
• Experience using oscilloscope, DVM, and test equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Read schematics/diagrams and perform routine testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct environmental and functional tests on production hardware.
• Diagnose malfunctions to component level and document results.
• Use test equipment to collect data and verify design specifications.
• Support IRCM Cell operations on the 2nd shift.
