Job summary

Gwynedd Manufacturing, a defense contractor and precision manufacturer in North Wales, PA, is seeking an Entry-Level EDM Operator to join our manufacturing team. This role offers hands-on learning in precision machining and will begin on a second shift with mandatory training on first shift.

You will operate EDM machines under supervision, set up workpieces, read basic blueprints, perform inspections, and help maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or machining coursework preferred (not required).
• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor EDM machines under supervision.
• Set up workpieces and tooling as instructed.
• Read and follow basic blueprints and work instructions.
• Perform routine inspections using measuring tools.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Meet production and quality standards.
