Job summary

Tegra Medical LLC in Franklin, MA is seeking a Second Shift EDM Operator-I to operate Electrical Discharge Machines to exact specifications, following charts and manuals, shaping metal parts with extremely tight tolerances in a high-precision manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Strong oral and written communication; able to follow instructions.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage time.
• Good manual dexterity and measurement tool proficiency.
• Positive attitude and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Operate EDM machines to meet blueprint specifications.
• Read blueprints and job orders for product specs.
• Use blueprint data to measure parts with Wire, Sinker and EDM Drill.
• Verify proper parts and fixturing are used.
• Verify dimensions of finished work pieces using optical/digital tools.
• Communicate with team, shifts, supervisor to transfer instructions.
• Perform in-process inspections.
• Assist in investigation of Nonconforming Material.
• Perform ERP system transactions.
