Job summary

Beckman Coulter Diagnostics, a Danaher operating company, seeks a Distribution Supervisor for the second shift at the Hebron, KY distribution center. The role leads day-to-day operations for 20+ associates, driving Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to meet on-time delivery, quality, and productivity goals.

The on-site position reports to the Operations Manager and requires overseeing productivity plans, safety, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment. Typical hours are 5:00 AM–1:30 PM.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience with a High School Diploma
• 5+ years experience leading a warehouse team
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably Oracle and intermediate Microsoft Office skills
• Lean/Six Sigma experience in a Continuous Improvement Environment
• Proven ability to make decisions, collaborate and thrive in an ambiguous environment with minimal support

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other Supervisors to build and execute productivity plans by reviewing work volume forecasts, determining productivity requirements, and partnering to balance labor across the facility.
• Communicate policies to associates reinforcing adherence of the team to consistent compliance, taking corrective action when required
• Foster a culture of accountability, engagement, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction in a Lean environment.
• Perform root cause analysis to facilitate problem-solving and process improvement/lean initiatives to facilitate logical solutions.
• Manage and provide performance feedback and development opportunities to direct reports (26 temp & FT) including monthly 1-on-1 meetings with associates.
