Job summary

Granger Waste Services is seeking an Experienced Diesel Mechanic in Lansing, Michigan. The role involves inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing diesel trucks and heavy equipment, as well as performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting major diesel engines.

The ideal candidate should have strong diesel diagnostics experience along with knowledge of engine systems. This position offers up to $40/hour based on experience, full benefits, and a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Strong diesel diagnostic and repair experience.
• Knowledge of engines, transmissions, hydraulics, electrical and brake systems.
• Ability to pass physical and drug screens.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Troubleshoot Cummins, Mack and Detroit Diesel engines.
• Work on brake, electrical, suspension and steering systems.

Skills
