Job summary

BlueGreen Alliance Inc. seeks a CNC Turret Lathe Operator to read blueprints, set up tooling, program and operate a CNC lathe, and use precision measuring tools in our Manufacturing department. This is a second shift position with a 10-hour four-day schedule and a $3.00/hour shift differential.

Qualified candidates will have 2+ years of CNC Turret Lathe experience, be able to perform in-process inspections, and follow safety and QA procedures. Overtime and potential travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical trades schooling in machining or metal trades is required.
• Must have 2+ years CNC Turret Lathe experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Set up work piece and determine tooling per drawings and specs.
• Investigate build materials and instructions to meet QA requirements.
• Visually inspect machined parts for conformance to drawings.
• Manually debur and polish parts.
• Perform in-process inspections with calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators.
• Read blueprints and work instructions accurately.
• Provide guidance to junior employees as needed.
