Job summary

Toolcraft Machining, Inc. in Germantown, WI seeks a second‑shift CNC pro with deep setup experience for low‑volume, tight‑tolerance work. You’ll switch between DMG MORI mill/turn, a CNC lathe, and boring mill, reading drawings and ensuring GD&T‑level accuracy.

You’ll program, optimize speeds/feeds, monitor tool life, and perform in‑process and final inspections while maintaining a clean, safe shop.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of CNC setup and operation across turning, VMC, boring mill, and/or mill/turn platforms.
• Proficiency in GD&T, blueprint interpretation, and G-Code.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run live‑tooling lathes and multi‑axis mill/turns with DMG MORI machinery.
• Operate Doosan PUMA 1214, Toshiba 150/200, and related CNC equipment.
• Read blueprints and routings to plan operations and verify tolerances.
• Define tooling and workholding; ensure secure setups.
• Program at the control or load existing code; optimize speeds/feeds.
• Track tool life, replace inserts, and tweak offsets to GD&T specs.
• Perform in‑process and final inspections with precision gauges.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area daily.
