Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift in York, PA to operate CNC equipment specifically for military applications. This role requires the ability to read technical prints, knowledge of CNC shop practices, and physical capability to handle materials.

The position offers a wage of $34.08/hour with a $2.00/hour shift differential, along with eligibility for benefits from the first day of employment. Candidates must be US citizens and able to work on Federal Defense contracts.

Qualifications

• CNC machine operation experience equivalent to 1-2 years of trades training.
• Ability to handle materials and work on a Federal Defense contract.
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment with rotary table and 14 feet of travel.
• Read and interpret drawings and process sheets.
• Perform fixture changeovers and manual data input.

Skills

Ability to read shop prints

Judgment to plan and perform tasks

Ability to perform moderate physical effort
