Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is hiring a CNC Machine Operator for the 2nd Shift at the Grantley Plant in York, PA. This role involves operating sophisticated CNC machines for manufacturing industrial HVAC equipment. Candidates should possess experience with CNC operations and the ability to work with precision measuring instruments.

The successful applicant will work Monday to Friday, 2pm - 10pm, with a competitive pay of $34.08/hr plus shift differentials. Union membership and benefits eligibility beginning day one are highlighted attractions for applicants.

Qualifications

• Read shop prints and process sheets effectively.
• Possess knowledge equivalent to 1-2 years trades training.
• Plan and perform tasks within quality and tolerance limitations.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC controlled horizontal machining center.
• Perform fixture change-overs and inspection of production parts.
• Monitor control messages and undertake corrective actions.

Skills

Ability to read shop prints
