Job summary

Advantic Building Group is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to prepare and operate numerical-control machinery, ensuring accurate setup and loading program commands. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency in production workflows.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years’ experience on multi-axis CNC machines, with five-axis familiarity preferred. The position offers a structured schedule and a commitment to growth within a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on 3+ axis CNC machines.
• Five axis experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Determine fixtures, attachments, and tools to complete jobs, mounting them before cutting.
• Oversee cutting, adjust processes, catch errors, and take corrective actions.
• Monitor machine conditions and ensure dust collection, clean filters as needed.
• Inspect finished parts for accuracy and uniformity to maintain quality.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance on the CNC machine.

The CNC Machine Operator will prepare and operate the numerical-control machine, accurately and efficiently read setup instructions and specifications, and load control media containing program commands into control console of the machine.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine the fixtures, attachments, and tools necessary to complete jobs according to specifications, and mount them to machine prior to beginning cutting.
• Oversee cutting process, make adjustments throughout each job, catch mistakes as they happen and take necessary measures to eliminate errors.
• Supervise machine conditions, ensure that machine has adequate dust collection during jobs and clear filters as needed.
• Inspect all finished product for accuracy and uniformity to ensure product quality and uphold company reputation.
• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance tasks to ensure machine longevity, lubrication, cleaning, and tool replacement.

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED. If not in possession of either, six months to a year of related experience or training is required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience on 3+ axis machines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Five axis experience is preferred.

This role is physically active and requires the ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, and climb throughout the workday.
