Role emphasizes strict dimensional control, program loading and editing, and ongoing process improvements in a clean machine shop. Collaboration with manufacturing engineers and team members is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience with CNC mills and lathes.
• Ability to read blueprints for machining applications.
• DOE familiarity and process improvement exposure encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Independently set up and operate CNC machines, including mills and lathes.
• Machine parts to blueprint specifications, ensuring dimensional accuracy.
• Load, run, and edit CNC programs as needed for production.
• Perform initial inspections to verify conformance to specs.
• Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and process issues to minimize downtime.
