Job summary

Acutec Precision Aerospace, Inc. is seeking an operator to run CNC mills and turning centers for precision aerospace parts. You will load programs, manage tool magazines, and position parts in fixtures, editing as needed for optimal results.

The role offers a clean, controlled environment, second shift from 4:15 PM to 3:00 AM, and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvements with a world-class team.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with all internal and external customers in both written and oral form.
• Ability to perform statistical process control input and interpret statistical data to compensate for machining deviation.
• Ability to perform mathematical calculations on fractions, percentages, decimals, and machine speeds/feeds.
• High school diploma or GED, and a minimum one to three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machine centers such as vertical/horizontal mills and/or turning centers.
• Load CNC programs and tool magazines and set up and position parts in holding fixtures; edit programs as required to produce optimal results.
• Work independently with minimal direction from Team Leader, be a driver of positive change and help reduce losses throughout the operation.
