Job summary

ITT Aerospace Controls LLC in Valencia, CA, seeks a Production Machine Shop Supervisor for the 2nd shift (3:30 p.m.–12:00 a.m.). You will lead machinists, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement in a high-volume production environment.

The role emphasizes disciplined execution, problem-solving, and accountability, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, staffing, tooling readiness, and collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams to meet delivery commitments.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in fabrication, manufacturing, or related operations.
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage resources, and execute in high-paced environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, high degree of ownership and accountability in decision-making.
• Lean principles and workflow optimization experience preferred.
• This position is assigned to the 2nd shift, with a schedule of 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Responsibilities

• Execute established operational procedures to ensure consistent and reliable production performance.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure on-time completion of work to meet delivery commitments.
• Manage workforce assignments, equipment readiness, and tooling availability.
• Assign and supervise work while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and precision tolerances.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Quality teams to resolve technical or process issues.
• Analyze demand requirements and develop resource plans (personnel, equipment, tooling, materials) to support production needs.
