Valence Surface Technologies is seeking a production technician in Wichita, KS to ensure the chemical processing line runs smoothly and rapidly. You will operate chemical tanks, time the processing, rinse parts, and prepare them for final finish.

Responsibilities include documenting work, supporting line assistants to maximize throughput, and logging preventative maintenance. A high school diploma is required, and aerospace experience is a plus.

Competenze

Previous aerospace experience is a plus.
Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and ability to read technical drawings and specs.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to stand long periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.

Mansioni

Process parts in chemical tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerses them in bath before finishing processing.
Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
Other duties as assigned.
