Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies in Wichita, KS seeks a production operator to ensure smooth and rapid processing on the finishing line. You will handle chemical tank operations, calculate processing times, rinse and finish parts, and complete required paperwork to support throughput and compliance.

Responsibilities include supervising line assistants, logging preventative maintenance, disposing of hazardous waste per guidelines, and performing other duties as assigned to keep production moving

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience a plus, preferably in the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Process parts in chemical tanks according to specifications, work order and other requirements.
• Calculates the appropriate amount of time needed to process parts.
• Removes parts from tank after specified time, rinses parts and immerse them in bath before finishing processing.
• Completes paperwork as required by company and processing guidelines.
• Oversee and assist all line assistants to optimize throughput.
• Evaluate and log all preventative maintenance on processing line.
• Ensure all hazardous waste material is disposed of correctly.
• Other duties as assigned.
