Textron Aviation is hiring an Experienced Avionics Technician for the Tampa, FL area to perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Service Center.

Role requires a minimum of 2 years in avionics troubleshooting and repair, with A&P certification helpful. The company offers a strong total rewards package and a $4,000 sign-on bonus. This is a second shift position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in aircraft avionics system troubleshooting and repair.
• A&P Certification is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repairing of avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center.
• Isolate and repair avionics system issues based on customer complaints, following FAA procedures.
• Analyze in-flight data and customer feedback to diagnose and correct issues.
• Identify and resolve defects in units or wiring discrepancies.
• Replace defective units, repair wiring, and modify aircraft as needed.
• Accompany pilots to conduct functional tests on repaired or aligned systems as needed.
• Perform duties based on aircraft orders, wiring diagrams, and both oral and written instructions.
