Job summary

Textron Aviation in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Avionics Technician (2nd Shift) to service avionics systems on board aircraft at a Textron Aviation Service Center. You will perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair while ensuring compliance with FAA procedures and safety standards.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues from in-flight data, replacing defective units, and testing repairs with pilots when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 2 years of avionics troubleshooting and repair experience.
• A&P certification is helpful.
• Ability to obtain airport security badge.

Responsibilities

• Functional testing of avionics systems following FAA procedures.
• Analyze in-flight data and feedback to diagnose issues.
• Troubleshoot defects in units or wiring discrepancies.
• Replace defective units and repair wiring as needed.
• Accompany pilots on flight tests for validated systems.
• Follow aircraft orders and wiring diagrams per instructions.
