Job summary

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree and two years of supervisor experience in automotive/manufacturing, with strong communication and leadership skills. SAP experience is preferred and candidates should be proficient in lean manufacturing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Two years supervisor experience in automotive/manufacturing.
• Strong written and verbal communication; SAP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead production staff to meet Quality, Cost, Delivery and Safety goals.
• Monitor equipment function and report faults or unsafe operations.
• Train, mentor and evaluate production staff performance.
• Analyze staffing to meet production schedules and budgets.
• Develop methods to improve production, equipment performance and quality.
• Manage production floor activities in line with procedures and policies.
• Promote high morale, teamwork and a positive work environment.
• Lead 5S, Quality, Safety, Delivery, Cost, Kaizen and lean manufacturing activities.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet objectives.
