Job summary

Positronic is seeking an assembler to build electronic components per work orders and production drawings, ensuring quality, precision, and compliance with safety standards.

You will read instructions, assemble parts using hand tools, and perform intermediate tasks while upholding the company’s high standards of integrity and operational excellence. Second shift responsibilities apply, with opportunities for growth and benefits including health insurance and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 to 3 months of experience or training.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow production drawings or instructions.
• Assemble and secure parts using hand tools and fixtures.
• Perform intermediate tasks such as potting, sanding, or color coding.
• Inspect parts using basic testing methods.
• Handle and install finished assemblies into enclosures.
• Uphold Positronic’s standards of integrity, quality, and operational excellence.
• Identify hazards in the workplace and report them to management and/or the safety coordinator.
• Collaborate with the EHS department to meet local, state, and federal regulatory requirements, including OSHA, NFPA, DNR, EPA, and Amphenol sustainability practices.
• Work with the Quality department to ensure compliance with AS9100 certification standards.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
