Job summary

CompX National is seeking a Team Member M - Apex Machine Operator for the second shift in Mauldin, SC. You will operate and adjust the Apex deburring/finishing equipment, inspect parts for quality, and maintain clean, safe work area.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and safety as a priority. Manufacturing or fabrication experience is preferred, with opportunities for growth and company benefits.

Responsibilities

• Start up, adjust, and run Apex deburring and finishing machine.
• Check finished components using calipers and micrometers to verify dimensions.
• Identify surface defects and sort out parts that do not meet standards.
• Stand, lift, load and unload parts up to 12 pounds.
• Clean machine and replace worn belts/tools; manage debris.
• Read prints or work instructions and follow procedures.
