Job summary

CompX National in Mauldin, SC is seeking a Polisher/Finisher for the first shift. The position involves operating various machinery to polish and finish metal parts, and requires attention to detail and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have attention to detail and work in a very safe manner.
• Required to hold pipe up to 10 pounds for at least 10 minutes at a time.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Operate polishers, buffers, and/or other special equipment.
• Safely operate machinery for polishing, buffing, and dull brushing.
• Use specialty machinery and abrasive compounds to smooth and shine metal parts.
• Inspect parts for imperfections, defects, cracks, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe at all times.
• Monitor machine operations and adjust settings as necessary.
• Follow all safety procedures.
