Job summary

Textron Systems ATAC is hiring an Aircraft Mechanic I for the Luke, AZ location on the second shift. The role focuses on maintenance actions on ATAC aircraft and safe launch/landing operations at detachments.

Responsibilities include performing inspections, troubleshooting structural/landing gear issues, training personnel, and coordinating with Crew Chiefs to meet schedules. Requires A&P or equivalent military experience.

Qualifications

• A&P certification or 5+ years of military aircraft maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform unsupervised complex maintenance actions and hold QAR/engine turn qualifications.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb in/out of aircraft, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on Textron Systems ATAC aircraft and support flight line operations.
• Train maintenance personnel and manage assigned maintenance programs.
• Coordinate detachment requirements with Crew Chiefs and supervise servicing.
• Perform 100-hour, progressive, isochronal, phase, periodic inspections and other checks.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions in aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls.
