Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Columbus Engine Center is seeking an Engine Inspector for the 2nd shift. You will perform detailed inspections throughout overhaul and assembly, ensuring compliance with data, regulations, and internal standards.

The role emphasizes accuracy in documentation, fits and clearances, EIRs, and SAP records, with a focus on safety and reliability in engine production. Colleague collaboration and continuous improvement are key.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in a mechanical, manufacturing, maintenance, quality, inspection, aviation, military or other technical environment.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and standard inspection documentation.

Responsibilities

• Use tooling and precision measurement equipment to inspect engine components and verify configuration.
• Provide accurate documentation to support engine assembly and maintenance.
• Meet production and inspection goals for the facility.
• Complete and review technical documentation, including Fits and Clearances, EIRs and SAP records.
• Review engine package documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support a team-based environment focused on continuous improvement.
