Trelleborg Sealing Solutions in Seattle, WA is seeking a second shift production supervisor to oversee a thermoforming and general production department, ensuring targets, quality, and safety are met. You will lead a team, allocate resources, and drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing and at least 1 year in supervision, with a preference for molding and machining experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in production/manufacturing.
• Minimum 1 year in supervisory/leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Molding and machining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a production team, ensuring they meet production targets and quality standards.
• Allocate tasks and resources to workers, ensuring that equipment, materials, and personnel are used effectively.
• Monitor and enforce quality control processes to maintain product quality and compliance.
• Ensure that all safety protocols and regulations are followed.
• Train new employees, provide guidance, and facilitate employee development.
• Create and manage production schedules to meet demand.
• Address production issues, equipment malfunctions, and process inefficiencies promptly.
• Maintain production records, track KPIs, and generate reports.
• Monitor and control production costs to stay within budget and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth flow of materials and information.
• Address conflicts within the production team and work toward resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and environmental standards.
• Provide leadership to the production team and motivate employees.
• Maintain accurate records of production activities, safety measures, maintenance, and employee performance.
• Implement lean manufacturing techniques and promote continuous improvement.
