Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education or related field.
• Valid state teaching license or ability to obtain.
• Experience teaching in primary grades (K–2).
• Experience with multilingual learners/ELs preferred.
• Structured literacy approaches training (Orton-Gillingham/UFLI) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality literacy, math, and core content instruction.
• Provide explicit, systematic literacy instruction aligned with the science of reading.
• Differentiate instruction for multilingual learners and varied student needs.
• Create a positive classroom environment that supports engagement and self-regulation.
• Implement PBIS with consistency and fidelity.
• Use data to monitor progress and inform instruction.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams and support staff.
• Communicate regularly with families about student progress and expectations.
• Participate in professional development and contribute to school culture.
• Maintain accurate records including assessments.
