Delaware North is hiring seasonal Cooks for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. You will prepare food for guest orders, communicate with the serving team, and thrive in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

This role offers weekly pay and opportunities to explore multiple Delaware North locations. Typical duties include opening/closing duties, portion control, and maintaining cleanliness of your station.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of back-of-house foodservice experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food to meet portion sizes, quality standards, and temperature requirements; ensure correct storage and packaging.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, and stocked.
• Record waste on the spoilage sheet following waste control guidelines.
• Perform opening, closing, side work duties and end-of-day inventory.

Pay

$18.75 - $19.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Prepare food to comply with all portion sizes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures, ensuring proper food temperatures are maintained, food is stored correctly, and the freshness and quality of all menu items are maintained; package all products to proper specifications.
• Keep workstation, coolers, and equipment clean, organized, sanitized, and sufficiently stocked.
• Use waste control guidelines and record all waste on the spoilage sheet.
• Perform opening, closing, side work duties and end‑of‑day inventory.

More About You

• At least 1 year of previous experience in a back‑of‑the‑house foodservice position.
• Ability to read and comprehend prep sheets and recipes.
• Basic math skills, with the ability to calculate and follow recipe measurements.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs or more, reach up to seven feet, bend, and squat.
• Standing and walking for the entire length of shift in moderate to high noise levels.
• Manual ability to chop, mix, blend, whip a variety of foods and liquids and operate kitchen equipment.
• Exposed to variable temperatures.
