Overview

The opportunity Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring seasonal custodians for Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. In this position, you will maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout our stores, ensuring a high standard of guest satisfaction and contributing to outstanding visitor experiences. These positions are for the 2026 Spring/Summer Season.

What will you do?

• Clean public areas, rooms, and restrooms according to department procedures and replenish supplies, maintaining sanitation guidelines
• Conduct a walk-around of the assigned areas to ensure that the facility meets housekeeping standards
• Interact with guests while cleaning, assisting guests as needed
• Report maintenance, repair problems to maintenance or management
• Ensure all lost and found items are turned in and logged daily
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area and sort recycling
• Maintain sanitation guidelines
• Keep all storage rooms and work areas neat, clean, and organized
• Perform other duties assigned

More About You

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Limited to no experience required; guest service experience preferred
• Working knowledge of various cleaning utensils, dryers, vacuum cleaners, tools, and fixtures
• Ability to work quickly under pressure
• Ability to make simple addition and subtraction calculations
• No high school diploma or GED required

Physical Requirements

• Frequent walking and standing for the entire length of the shift
• Frequent climbing of stairs, bending, stooping, reaching, kneeling, and carrying
• Ability to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs
