Job summary

The Second Cook at Dorado Beach Golf Manag is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food in line with recipes and quality standards. You will operate ovens, stoves, grills, and fryers, ensuring food is cooked to correct temperatures and plated to guidelines.

Starting rate is $14.00 per hour. The role offers a signing bonus up to $1,000, health insurance, a retirement plan, and opportunities for professional growth in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a culinary, food and beverage, or related professional role, or 1 year of culinary training with 2 years of relevant experience.
• Sushi knowledge and experience.
• Proficient in roasting, grilling, broiling, frying, sautéing, and strong knife skills.
• Food Safety Manager Certification as required by local and state regulations.
• Efficiently handle multiple tasks under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities.
