Job summary

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn and perform on-call duties and emergency response.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installation, maintenance, and testing of meters, relays, and substation equipment.
• Learn operation of SCADA and assist in switching operations online and in substations.
• Assist with energy audits, meter reads, and troubleshooting power interruptions as directed.
• Train and mentor helpers and serve under supervision of a senior technician.
