Job summary

Frenchman's Reserve Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking an experienced Second Assistant Golf Course Superintendent to join our team and support the Superintendent in daily management, maintenance, and agronomic care of the golf course and practice facilities.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years of golf course maintenance experience, a turfgrass or agronomy background, and a strong work ethic with attention to detail, ready to advance to First Assistant Superintendent.

Qualifications

2–4 years of golf course maintenance experience preferred.
Associate degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Agronomy, Horticulture preferred.
Strong knowledge of golf course turfgrass maintenance and cultural practices.
Ability to safely operate a variety of golf course maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

Assist the Golf Course Superintendent and First Assistant Superintendent with daily golf course maintenance operations.
Supervise and direct maintenance staff during assigned shifts and projects.
Assist with daily scheduling, crew assignments, and prioritization of maintenance activities.
Operate and maintain turfgrass equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with mowing, trimming, aeration, fertilization, pesticide applications, and other cultural practices.
Support irrigation system operation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance.
