LSG Group in Los Angeles (LAX) is hiring a Driver Helper to assist with loading and unloading catering vehicles, handle requisitions, and support the dispatcher.

Candidates must be 21+, able to lift 50 lbs, read and write English, and follow HACCP and safety rules. A valid driver’s license, ability to obtain SIDA, and a flexible 24/7 schedule are required. This is a Union position with dues after 14 days; a full benefits package starts after 30 days.

DRIVER HELPER

Hiring Immediately!

Pay rate $25.00 up to $32.65 with no Medical Insurance

CANDIDATES MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ANY DAY OF THE WEEK.

Description of Duties:

• Receives work assignments from dispatcher or supervisor on duty
• Responsible for loading and unloading catering vehicles
• Fills requisitions made by both internal as well as external customers
• Complete all paperwork required or requested
• Caters "RJ" type A/C
• Perform additional duties as needed.

Eligible candidates must:

• Be 21 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule; This is a 24-hour operation, 7 days a week

Additional eligibility requirements and details:

• This is a Union Position - must be willing to pay union dues after 14 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8-12 hours a day
