Job summary

Kratos Defense and Security Solutions seeks a Software Engineer to join our agile team in Colorado Springs. The role supports a SecDevOps approach across the software lifecycle, deploying applications with containerization tools such as Kubernetes and OpenShift, and contributing to design, testing, and operational support.

The successful candidate will work on system integration, CI/CD automation, and troubleshooting in simulated environments, using Java/C++ on Windows and Linux, and scripting

Qualifications

BA/BS Degree in STEM field required.
5-7 years of relevant industry experience.
Java and C/C++ programming on Windows and Linux.
Scripting languages including Python, Unix Shell or Windows Batch.

Responsibilities

Support SecDevOps across the software lifecycle including design, development, testing, and operations.
Assist with system integration to develop and deploy applications.
Utilize Kubernetes/OpenShift to manage and deploy services.
Maintain automated tests and CI/CD pipelines.
