Job summary

Kratos Defense in Colorado Springs seeks an Integration/Field Engineer to administer and maintain infrastructure supporting software development, integration, testing, and deployment within secure labs. You will build automation and ensure lab environments remain reliable, secure, and ready to support Engineering, Development, Test, and Cybersecurity activities.

Responsibilities include managing Windows/Linux infra, virtualization, storage, networks; deploying Kubernetes/OpenShift; implementing

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Information Technology/Cybersecurity/Space Systems field of study.
Active Security+ Certificate with CE and ability to obtain TS/SCI.
Eight years of experience in space operations/IT/Systems Administration or five years with relevant bachelor degree.
Travel up to four weeks per year (less than 10% of the time) and be physically present 5 days a week.
Favorable adjudication of TS/SCI is required.

Responsibilities

Administer Windows, Linux, virtualization, storage, and network infrastructure supporting development and integration laboratories.
Build, maintain, and automate enterprise lab environments for software development, integration, testing, and deployment.
Implement and maintain GitOps workflows, source control integration, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
Develop automation using PowerShell, Bash, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
Deploy, administer, and troubleshoot Kubernetes, OpenShift, container platforms, and supporting services.
Install, configure, patch, and maintain enterprise infrastructure with cybersecurity/configuration management requirements.
Collaborate with Engineering, Integration, Test, and Cybersecurity teams on modernization and readiness.
Develop technical documentation and SOPs for automation and lab environments.
Support customer site activities and travel as required.
