Job summary

Atlantic Group is seeking an SEC Reporting Manager based in Wilmington, DE. This pivotal role involves leading external reporting, SEC filings, and mentoring SEC Reporting professionals amidst a significant corporate transformation.

The ideal candidate will have a CPA, 6-8+ years of relevant experience, and a deep understanding of U.S. GAAP. This position offers extensive visibility with senior leadership and numerous growth opportunities, including office relocation to the Philadelphia suburbs and robust benefits.

Job description

Position Overview

The SEC Reporting Manager will lead critical aspects of external reporting, SEC filings, technical accounting disclosures, and team development while playing a key role in a growing function expected to add multiple SEC and Accounting Policy professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual SEC filings, including financial statements and footnote disclosures
  • Lead, mentor, and develop SEC Reporting professionals
  • Monitor emerging accounting and disclosure requirements and assess reporting impacts
  • Oversee peer benchmarking and public company disclosure analysis
  • Partner with Investor Relations on earnings releases and non-GAAP reporting
  • Manage Workiva reporting processes and XBRL filings
  • Prepare reporting materials for executive leadership and key stakeholders
  • Maintain and enhance SOX controls related to external reporting
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 6-8+ years of public accounting & SEC reporting
  • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Proven leadership, communication, and project management skills
