Under the guidance of the Assistant Controller, the SEC Reporting Manager plays an active role in achieving Finance objectives. This role oversees the financial reporting required by the Bank, its parent, and subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and other authorities. The manager will collaborate with various stakeholders to maintain compliance, monitor emerging reporting standards, and interpret relevant accounting matters.
This person will also:
Lead and oversee SEC reporting support staff, providing guidance to enhance their expertise.
Facilitate the preparation, review, and submission of SEC and other reports, including Form 10-Q, 10-K, MD&A, Form 8-K, investor presentations, and other filings.
Manage the preparation and analysis of the annual sustainability report and other related disclosures in coordination with relevant departments.
Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, including analytical reviews, variance analysis, and data integrity checks.
Collaborate with the regulatory reporting team to ensure consistency between SEC and external regulatory reports.
Assist with reporting and analysis for other stakeholders across the Bank.
Monitor new reporting requirements from FASB, SEC, and other bodies, assisting in their interpretation and implementation.
Ensure the integrity of SEC reporting through sound controls and procedures.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors during inquiries, audits, or examinations, including drafting responses and implementing actions.
Review complex transactions for compliance with SEC, GAAP, and other standards.
Support reporting for acquisitions, including coordinating with accounting teams and leading disclosure efforts.
Lead special projects as assigned.
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance required; an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance preferred.
Experience
4-7 years in accounting or finance required.
3-5 years in the Financial Services Industry with SEC reporting experience required.
Less than 2 years of supervision experience required.
Licenses and Certifications
CPA certification required within 1 year of employment start date.

The salary range for this role is $92,470 - $158,520 annually, depending on factors such as location, skills, and experience.
