Job summary

Benchmark is seeking a Manager, SEC Reporting to lead the preparation and filing of SEC reports for a multi-site manufacturing organization, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Masters degree preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience (Big Four preferred).
• Experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Experience with ERP systems (Infor or similar) and financial reporting tools (e.g., ActiveDisclosure, Workiva).
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation and filing of all SEC reports, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statement, Section 16 and other filings.
• Ensure compliance with SEC regulations, U.S. GAAP, and disclosure requirements.
• Oversee consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Research and document technical accounting issues and draft memos; support new standards.
• Oversee accounting for share-based compensation and EPS calculations for SEC filings.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites, operations, and FP&A to align external reporting with internal metrics.
• Lead earnings releases and ensure Form 10-Q disclosures accuracy.
