Job summary

Confidential Careers in Oak Brook, IL is seeking a Manager, Financial Reporting to join Corporate Controllership. The role blends SEC reporting, technical accounting, accounting policy, and leadership with cross-functional exposure across Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal and senior finance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive accounting/financial reporting experience.
• CPA is required.
• Public accounting experience strongly preferred.
• SEC reporting experience, including 10-K and 10-Q filings.
• Strong technical accounting and GAAP knowledge.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Workiva and/or OneStream experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Key role in the preparation and review of 10-K, 10-Q and 8-K filings.
• Broad technical accounting exposure, including share-based compensation, EPS, debt, hedging, leases and other complex accounting matters.
• Partner closely with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Investor Relations, Tax, Treasury, Legal and senior finance leadership.
• Involvement in earnings materials, accounting policy and implementation of new GAAP and SEC requirements.
• Manage and a team while maintaining hands-on involvement in key reporting initiatives.
• Opportunity to drive process improvements and take on business-critical projects.
