Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking an SEC Reporting Associate to join our Corporate Financial Reporting team in New York. The role focuses on quarterly production, analyses, and filings of 10-K and 10-Q; collaboration across Finance and Firm stakeholders is essential.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in Accounting or Financial Services, strong US GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and Word. Experience with Workiva Wdesk and XBRL is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Financial Services, with SEC or regulatory exposure preferred.
• Solid knowledge of US GAAP and SEC disclosure rules.
• Proven ability to analyze financial data and prepare disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Finance and Firm-wide stakeholders to support SEC filings.
• Prepare and analyze data for the 10-K and 10-Q disclosures.
• Draft and review sections of the 10-K/Q, including liquidity, capital resources, and footnotes.
• Coordinate with Treasury, Risk Management, Legal and other finance functions to obtain information.
• Identify process improvements and leverage AI/tools to enhance reporting efficiency.
